About

Delhi NCR, India

I’m a mechatronics and robotics engineer based in Delhi NCR. I read Mechatronics and Robotics at the University of Leeds and graduated with First Class Honours in July 2026.

Most of what I have built is hardware. A heavy-lift drone that carries 15 lb for twenty minutes and cost under $5,000 to make. A game engine split across two microcontrollers so neither has to wait for the other. An end effector that takes four different tools on one quick-change mount. A tennis ball with a two-axis gimbal inside it.

The rest of the site is the engineering. This page is the part of the work that isn’t.

I also write and perform spoken word — twice Poet of the Year at the Leeds University Union Spoken Word Society, in 2024 and again in 2025. It sits here rather than being hidden at the bottom of the page, because it is the same nerve as the debating and it is judged by other people the same way.

At Leeds, outside the degree

iMechE UAS Challenge — University of Leeds

Project Manager · Third year · October 2025 – June 2026

Led a team of fifteen-plus building an autonomous delivery aircraft to a hard 10 kg all-up limit, across mechanical, electrical and software. Ran a £1,300+ budget and secured £1,000 in sponsorship. It has its own page under selected work — this is the part of it that was managing people rather than parts.

Leeds University Union Spoken Word Society

Poet of the Year, 2024 and 2025 · First and second year

Spoken word, performed. Voted rather than applied for, and twice. It is on an engineering site because somebody else was doing the counting. Performances and readings are filmed and collected at @rhymesandriffs.

Vibes — Bollywood dance society

Treasurer · Third year · 2025–26

Held the society’s money: budgets, subs, event costs and the arithmetic that decides whether a showcase happens. Not glamorous, but somebody has to do it and the society voted for me to.

Community work

The Inclusive Network

Founder & Coordinator · 2021–2023 · Pathways World School Aravali

A campus-wide inclusivity initiative across four disability sectors — locomotor, visual, hearing and mental health — plus the gender and menstrual-health infrastructure the campus did not have.

Shreeji Sewa Sanstha

Secretary & IT Head · July 2021 – July 2022 · Delhi

A Delhi non-profit running fundraisers, cleanliness drives and spoken English programmes across the city. I ran the systems side, and taught on one of the programmes.

Apollo Sugar and White Dental Clinic

Volunteer · May 2021 – July 2021 · Gurgaon

India’s second wave. I maintained the vaccination database tracking COVID-19 dose administration at the clinic.

Reversible X2

Adaptive clothing for visually impaired wearers · House of Keller · August 2022 – August 2023

A garment you can put on correctly without seeing it. Both faces are finished, both are wearable, and the wearer finds front from back by touch in about a second.
